I loved the pain, the timeless hours repeating the same turn, the mental transformation when you achieve something that was challenging. When I moved to the United States, I kept dancing as a hobby as I was transitioning into acting. Theater in Cuba in the “Olga Alonso” group was my introduction to acting. I treasure those insane hours rehearsing a play. I wouldn’t be here without it.
