It is three good friends who all met via a band called A Place to Bury Strangers. Steve met Lio at @kaninerecords ’ “Crashin In” party at CMJ in 2007 at Galapagos. Mike was a member of Death By Audio band Neckbeard Telecaster. Death by Audio resident @joe.jurewicz of Neckbeard Telecaster designed our logo. Lio reissued Oliver from APTBS’ original band Skywave on @kaninerecords and Jon Fedowitz from Skywave and @aptbs is joining us this year with his band @ceremonyeastcoast We didn’t want to add headliners to this festival. Its essence is welcoming 100 or so bands from around the world to the Lower East Side to introduce them to the best audience in the world, but this band means a lot to all three of us. Not to mention, they are the best live band on the planet. This show has however created a stipulation to it that only the first 100 of the 1200 or so badge holders we’ll have will be able to get into the show.
