Lee Alexander McQueen imagined tribes of women struggling against the elements on an epic journey to create Scanners, his Paris show of Autumn/Winter 2003.

In his mind, it created a tundra where migrating cultures met, merged and swapped traditions in a brutally extreme climate.

One dress on that journey was molded from hessian, and naively embroidered with wool flowers, butterflies and insects.

Roses can be found on the second floor of the London store.
