On October 8, 2019, the Supreme Court heard three cases related to gender discrimination in the workplace. During the hearings, the United States government suggested that it would be dangerous and disruptive to include LGBTQ+ people fully in society. They’ve suggested that employers, landlords, school administrators, and shelter staff should be able to discriminate against anyone who is not the “right” kind of man or woman.
