We are TAUGHT, especially women, that the ONLY way to play is to show up pretty and smile. Yes the times are changing. But are they for EVERYONE? Not sure. But sitting and waiting on what people think of me or what they don’t and let that dictate my work and therefore life, is NOT a role I signed up for. Sadly for years felt I had no other choice.
