On the occasion of the #DiorCouture Spring-Summer 2020 show by @MariaGraziaChiuri, discover the making of the embroidered banners adorning the show venue designed by @Judy.Chicago, one of the founders of the feminist art movement, at the invitation of our Creative Director of women’s collections. These exceptional creations were produced by @Chanakya.School, an embroidery school in India supported by Dior, with the aim of empowering female students in a country where embroidery savoir-faire is internationally recognized but traditionally a man’s domain.
