Today we celebrated my oldest son’s 14th birthday & I’m more aware than ever of how quickly he is growing up 😭 Losing one of my dearest friends & my grandfather in the span of a month has made my tender ♋️ heart eager to spend as much time loving my boys as possible. Rylee has always been an observer, taking in the world on his terms, & when he says something it’s really witty & funny or thoughtful. He loves music, history, his little brother, fried chicken & rolling his eyes (same tbh). Being his mom is the best gift I’ve been given & the most stressful! 🤣🥵 Happy Birthday bubba, thanks for teaching me how to do this whole parenting thing & more importantly for being born on @dollyparton’s birthday! 💖🙏🏻
