This past September I had the great opportunity to board this amazing, three-masted schooner built in the Netherlands in 1924. The “old lady” has a mesmerizing charm unique to these kinds of ships. A schooner is defined as a vessel with two or more masts, with the foremast shorter than that of the mainmast. This schooner is also technically a tall ship, defined as a traditionally rigged sailing vessel.
