I just found this article on my mom, Kathy Wilson, who was Chair of The National Women’s Political Caucus in the 80’s, a partisan organization devoted to getting women elected and passing the Equal Rights Amendment. In it, her wish for me (then age 3) was to see the ERA passed in 20 years. While I’m definitely VERY YOUNG, sadly that deadline came and went- due to no lack of fighting on her part and the part of so many. But with my home state of VA being the 38th state to ratify it, we’re getting closer. Wish she were here to see. Here’s to her and ALL who fought and continue to fight. Thank you, Mama. #snowperson
