(WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT) Yesterday was the anniversary of an accident I was in, a reckless driver almost claimed my life. The first two and last two pics are me today. After several back to back spinal and experimental surgeries, I was left with %8 chance of survival. I wasn’t allowed to eat or drink for months, dropping my weight to 48 lbs. Bed ridden for almost a year. I couldn’t stand, couldn’t even lift my phone to reach out to those I love. Some of these photos I have never shared, I still have a hard time seeing them. The front scars were left very painful and tight. For they could not sew me up, the fear of needing to dive right back in was too great. So I lay with a giant rubber band holding my midsection together for a month. After the first several surgeries to repair my torn apart organs. Which never worked. But the universe gave me a gift and allowed the tissue to heal. It took an insane amount of time, we never expected it. Never give up and never surrender. You can do anything. Thank you to all my family, friends and the amazing doctors, nurses and techs. Your jokes, energies and skills are appreciated more than you will ever know. And a big thanks to @gabbayplasticsurgery for the reconstruction he did on all my scars. Bikini season is all year around at my house 🥰Anyways, always say I love you, eat all the things.
