Back in April, while I was in the throes of a very deep artistic rut and wallowing in the self-pity that comes along with that kind of devastating personal block, my friend @christinedonlon invited me to a night of one act plays, which included a new work she had written While I have long admired Christine's talent for acting, photography, and prose writing, I had never seen or read any scripted work of hers, and I was dreading the possibly obligatory negative stage door experience. To my extremely pleasant surprise, the piece she wrote was mature, smart, funny, emotional, full of dramatic questions worth exploring, and themes that resonated for me (and seemingly the whole audience). Afterwards, I asked her if she would want to turn it into a film with me. Lucky for me- she said yes So, we went to the old artists well of "no budget but passion" and with the help of my wonderful collaborator/DP @zakkwe , producer @devondarmstrong , sound man extraordinare @dylan_acio and wonderful actor @jeremy_radin , we went and did the damn thing. With a finishing touch of sound mix from the incomparable Dan Newman, this puppy is in the bag Instead of trying to do the long run around of the festival circuit, and in the spirit of the origins, we've decided to just put this out and let people see it I hope you'll give EXTRA CREDIT ten minutes of your time.
