While some might argue, I don’t consider myself a hoarder. A collector, yes. Mostly in the antique and art realm — but really only the things that I admire and/or hold sentimental value. I remember the first time ever receiving a hand written letter from a fan, and how I felt so honored that someone felt inspired enough to put pen to paper and send me their thoughts. There was no way I could ever part with something like that. From that day on I have meticulously cherished/archived every single piece of fan mail and fan art ever sent to me, and have stored them in our vault along with every line drawing I’ve done for tattoos, the first 5 of every product I’ve ever designed, my original artwork since childhood, love letters, and journals. If you’ve ever written me a letter, then you already know that I always write back, but just wanted to thank you again for taking the time to share yourself with me, and hope you know it means more to me than you’ll ever know - especially in a world where hardly anyone writes or interacts with others outside of their phones.
