He always sounded like Brando to me, like he was a million different Brando scenes I’d seen all come to haunt me at once. “Milk” was a filmmaking that I don’t know will ever happen again, when scenes went into to a primitive state. When you were never sure what you we’re doing but you knew something special was transpiring.
