But 2019 has been a lot more memorable than I ever expected! The year starting off with 3 months of rehab before the comp season was not really how I hoped to start. The comp season was full of ups and downs, more downs than I would have expected and more struggles than I had imagined. I went to Japan for world championships with mixed feelings, not knowing if I really was prepared for what was to come. I gave myself not the best chances to qualify for the Olympics directly in Hachioji, but sometimes things come unexpected in very positive ways! 😁🤷🏼‍♂️ The pinky finger pulley rupture on the last day of the comp was only a minor setback. It kept me away from the rocks but I guess you can't always get what you want. In October I had the very special honor to present the film ROTPUNKT together with @ken_etzel and @chelcijolli and the feedback we got from people was overwhelming! The end of the year I was fortunate enough to spend with the people I love, with family and friends and I couldn't be more grateful for that. Thanks everyone for making last year special.
