The Honest Companyさんのインスタグラム写真 - (The Honest CompanyInstagram)「"It’s been a week of telling him no a lot. for his actual safety, but i also realized it’s sometimes because it’s convenient for me.⁣ ⁣ i don’t love the fact that he wants to play in the dirt and get all muddy right before mealtime or that he wants to climb the stairs on his own when we are trying to get to the next thing. those things require a little more of me and a little extra time that i don’t always want to give when i could say no & avoid both.⁣ ⁣ that’s not the childhood i want my kid to live though. one where i got what i wanted and he had to fit my mold. he’s ALL over the place. he’s into EVERYTHING. he’s learning the world for the first time and that comes with experiencing new things. it has come with a lot of no’s that are mentally exhausting and not fun for either of us. reminding myself to take time, slow down & breathe in. letting ourselves explore a little more, say yes a little more & create some free, magical childhood a little more ✨" ⁣ ⁣ A beautiful reminder to "let them be little" from @maeghaniris 💕 What is something you will be doing more of this new year?
