Oh, and I’m starting to feel flutters in my tummy 🥰 🙌🏼 #bestfeelingever ❤️ - I absolutely love being pregnant and feel so blessed to be, but I’ve never experienced so many different kinds of emotions in my life. Pregnancy is so amazing and yet so scary at the same time. - I recently got a call from my Dr. that my ultrasound was abnormal & that I have what’s called Marginal umbilical cord Insertion. This only happens in about 7% of pregnancies. Hearing that statistic made me freak out, so of course I spent the entire day crying and Googling all I could about it. Basically it means that the umbilical cord has inserted into the side of the placenta vs the middle of it, but as long as the baby is receiving a good amount of oxygen and nutrients & we monitor this closely things should be okay 🙏🏼❤️ - The reason I’m sharing this with you guys is not for sympathy, but to help others out there who may be experiencing the same thing. Also, I may be saying this because I’m feeling extra emotional today, but please remember to be kind. You never know the struggles someone is going through. Since showing my belly and discussing my pregnancy, I’ve gotten a few mean comments about my body and journey. It’s perfectly okay to have opinions on pregnancy but before shaming a pregnant woman for being too small or too big, or whatever the case is, please remember that everyone’s journey is different. It’s hard enough being pregnant but it’s even harder going through the extra stress of judgement. - I really have tried to share as much as my journey with my ka-uties as possible to create an outlet where we can all learn and teach one another. I’ve learned so much while being pregnant from moms out there who have shared their journey with me & I’m so thankful 🙏🏼❤️ I love and appreciate you guys so much.
