Today we thought we'd share some of our top tips for showcasing your dishes. 1) Reduce shake and use a tripod for razor sharp shots - particularly when capturing your photos in low light. 2) Experiment with angles: some dishes lend themselves to be photographed from directly above, while other subjects (tiered cakes being a good example) may need to be shot from a lower angle to get the full scale. 3) Where possible, shoot with natural light. If you illuminate your food with an artificial light such as a lamp, it can sometimes create an orange or yellow colour cast in your photo, distorting the actual colour of your plate.
