😔💔Words by @sharkgirlmadison You can see the life in this animals eye, this isn’t a bloodthirsty killer, this animal is scared, this animal needs our help. An entire culture has changed the future for sharks because of their fins. Can you picture leaving your family for two weeks to go and fish sharks in rough seas on a boat you built, with very little safety, no bathroom or land and the constant smell of dead sharks, just to supply this trade? Well I can, I did it for two weeks, watching them suffer, the only way I survived was documenting everything with my camera. I started @projecthiu to stop this, and since seeing it first hand, were more motivated than ever.
