I just wanted to be skinny, but NO matter how hard I dieted, starved and trained I couldn’t drop enough weight. Nothing was good enough… PCOS took a toll on my skin among MANY other things too… I’ve dealt with a lot of my own body shaming, but it’s only after working through a lot of the mental pain in my 30’s that I have learned to really love the body and skin I have. No. Matter. What.  I deserve to love my self,  my skin and the women I have fought to be. Sometimes I train really hard and sometimes I don’t. Thats ok. I listen to what my body needs and stripped away all the ‘ideals’ that were engrained in me in since I was really young. I don’t need to have ridiculously unachievable standards. I’ve had to work hard on this mentally too. I’m proud of me, all of me…. #MySkinMyWay  We’ve gone through the most and we’re still going strong. Before you say anything, PCOS drove me to hate a lot of who I was.
I trained twice a day for almost 3-4 hours at a time.
It was a lot. I still didn’t understand why my body wasn’t where I wanted it to be.
I pushed myself too hard.
