So if we want to survive this thing, we’re going to have to dig deep and get to the roots. We have centuries of damage to undo, so it’s time to get started.”

And we need collective mass-based movements to tackle these issues. It cannot be done in isolation, or simply by individual lifestyle choices. While the latter is important, we will not be able to build the power necessary to contest the fucked up systems unless we are supporting organizations and movement for Climate Justice. And these movements must also be supporting racial, economic, and gender justice all together. It is all linked.
