Billed as the ‘Ice Queen’ due to her impressive ability to remain calm under intense pressure, Eve has undoubtedly used this skill to her advantage, winning 13 gold medals throughout her career so far (including a World Championships in 2013) and amassing an incredible 300 plus caps for Scotland and GB. In Sochi, she became the youngest ever skip, male or female, to ever win an Olympic medal. Her next goal is securing a place on Team GB for the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022 and realising her dream of being on the Olympic podium once more. Not content with excelling at curling, Eve is a champion bagpipe player, having piped at four World Championships. She is also a keen golfer and holds the course record of 68 at her home club in Pitlochry. This week sees her competing with Team Muirhead at the Boost National in St Johns.
