But this piece, although incredibly challenging in itself, has been a ray of sunshine and provided me a much needed sense of purpose and achievement through it all. The latin (for those who’ve never played Uncharted 😉) means ‘greatness, from humble beginnings’, and epitomises the journey of young backhoe driver 🚜 Jim McConaghy (that’s young Jim on the left, behind his present-day self), from humble earthmover to entrepreneur, creating #McConaghyProperties, a development company full of heart that has provided resources and opportunities for regional Queenslanders for the last 50yrs. It’s been such an honour and a pleasure to work with Jim and his son Gary to create this special portrait, and such a wonderful reward to see all the happiness it’s brought to all who know Jim 😊.
