The pressure to post non-stop, to create without down time can be intense. And don’t get me started on the whole “if you don’t post everyday your work won’t get seen because algorithm” crap. It’s relentless. Sometimes simply LOOKING at sm, or engaging can zap your spirit, ya know? In the last 5 years I’ve been to 40 countries (not counting the ones I keep visiting multiple times). Traveling the world, documenting every moment finally took a toll, I think. This year alone I’ve been away from home pretty much since April. When I finally got back in October all I could do was sleep. And cry. I was kind of a mess. I still love travel and I still love people. But the real-life interactions are what do it for me. Face to face, connecting and learning from one another is where my heart’s at. (Which, incidentally, is why I love traveling with you all so much!
