I hit a word wall sometimes when I can’t feel perfect match for translating my first language to the other languages.

Right now, I am searching the translation of a Japanese word “寄り添う(yorisou)”.
Yori is approach.
Sou is accompany,comply in literal translation.
It’s a verb and it can use physically and mentally, also both at the same time.
I can’t find perfect translation but it includes “offer someone silent support” “stay present to the pain of disapproval” “to get close to someone’s heart”. It’s not that long or difficult feeling/movement.But a power word with warmth.
What would be your word for this?
Maybe I don’t even need to put on a word

時々ぴったりくる翻訳のない言葉の壁にぶつかる時がある。
今探してる単語は、「寄り添う」
身体的にも精神的にも使うこのワード。
調べて1番近いのは「無言で誰かに支えることをオファーすること」「否定された心の痛みの為に一緒に今という時に留まること」「誰かの心に近付くこと」
そんな長い難しい気持ちや動きじゃない…でも暖かい強い単語だと思う。英語一言でどうやって言えばいいと思う？笑
もはや言葉にすることでもないのかも
