Ready for some news about the collaboration between IKEA and World Surf League? Pro surfers Rob Machado and Kassia Meador have joined our design team! Together we will be developing KÅSEBERGA - a collection for all ocean enthusiasts of the world, connecting sustainability with an active life and mobile living. The name KÅSEBERGA [koh-se-beerg-haa] comes from a small town in southern Sweden with one of the most southern surf breaks in the country. Longboarder pro Kassia Meador, dubbed “the queen of noseriding” has ranked 2nd on the WSL Women’s Longboard Tour, designed many products and built her own company, KASSIA+SURF. Rob Machado is one of the world's most recognizable surfers as well as a committed environmentalist. In 2004, he established Rob Machado Foundation to support environmental programs for youth — its primary mission is to educate and empower young people to make sustainable choices.
