Every night our TM, or occasionally @timwthornton , would fill the ikea bottles with tap water and we’d store them in the fridges for anyone to use .... Thanks @dopper_official - your bottles are really clever - and thermos too - so great for those lemon ginger tea moments half way through the set ... We changed our rider to only glass bottles of water for venue crew etc - and honestly most venues, and staff, were well up for it .... not preaching here - just saying - we tried it - it worked - a crate of ikea bottles and a box of dopper bottles - vs - 1248 single use plastic bottles - it just required that one bit of effort - to fill some bottles with water and take them to the bus at the load out that’s it .... And we can use them again for the next tour ..... Imagine if every band on tour in Europe did this, every night....
