Be grateful for every bit of life surrounding you, always 🍂✨ for thanksgiving I wanted to post a photo from each of my favorite places and explain why they are significant to me. I was looking on the photo drive my friend shared with me for some of the gorgeous Oregon photos we took last year and happened to find these videos of me from the hiking trail we all took together. It was chilly and raining but the air was pure and I hadn’t felt so happy just living in the moment in so long. I frolicked in somewhat of a meditative state without care of all the things that had been holding be back since that summer. This was a weird time in my life full of disorganized emotion and sense of loss. Unwinding among trees has always been a habit of mine since I was a little girl and being stuck in the desert for so long I almost forget sometimes how essential clean air and freedom are to us in order to filter out that pent up stress society give us. Live for yourself without restraints or fear and don’t forget to touch close to a few trees along your journey🌲🍁♡
Edit: I forgot to mention that stick I’m holding was an arrow from doing archery before exploring this trail! I also picked up a few ginormous leaves that I tried to keep but I don’t know where any of them ended up.
