Thank you Jalyn! “I was born and raised in Washington, a state known for its evergreen trees, scenic mountains, and unique marine life. While Washington state has the perception of being one of the most eco-friendly places in the United States, it still has its flaws. The city of Tacoma where I live has environmental exposures from industry emissions and is close to hazardous waste treatment facilities. These exposures have affected the air around us and they are damaging the health of our community. This past year I have been learning about new ways I can help support climate action and live a more sustainable life. One way I have decided to make a change in my community is by working with @ourclimateleaders. At Our Climate, we have been working on the #PutAPriceOnIt campaign which taxes carbon emissions and holds polluters accountable to the communities that they are damaging. With Our Climate, I have been able to fight for just and equitable climate policy which will make a lasting difference in my community.”」11月25日 0時51分
