I had just graduated university and moved to London by myself. It all felt like a dream... I was born in London and returning there as a young woman to build my future was the most surreal experience. I had pictured it my entire life and then it was happening. The reality was different than the dream though.. despite working two jobs I still couldn’t make ends meet. So I found a job at a coffee shop. There I was, working three jobs and still needed my friends to pay for my drinks when we went out. It was hard and wonderful and exhausting and all the girls I worked with became family. We would sit there serving coffee after coffee talking about how nothing exciting ever happened. BUT THEN one day Robbie Williams came into the coffee shop and we all had a meltdown that a celebrity had walked into our coffee shop. He bought a single coffee with a fifty pound note. It blew our collective mind.
