Just being silly & showing a bit of self-love throughout these shots. Reflecting on these today (no pun intended) made me have a little bit of a moment. It suddenly hit me that there was a time in my life that I couldn’t do this. Looking myself in the mirror & being happy with myself; being able to laugh at myself. All the times I’d look in the mirror & question the person looking back at me. It didn’t really dawn on me or hit me until I saw these photos. I figured I’d post about it because, honestly, I’m not embarrassed to. I used to be. And at least now I can look in the mirror and be proud of myself. Pat myself on the back & give myself a little kiss 😘😂. But, for real, life is a crazy fucking journey in every way possible - emotionally, mentally, & physically. The importance of valuing yourself & not allowing others to dictate/control your well-being & happiness is something that took me some time & good/bad experiences to learn. But through all of those experiences in life, it just made me stronger. It really makes me want to help others.
