I’m not talking about just physically but mentally as well.. I’ve worked really hard for change!! I used to be 90lbs struggling with Crohn’s Disease & quite literally running from my problems pretending everything was fine. I used to run 8+Miles a day just to get my mind off the pain. I didn’t realize that pain was my body telling me to hit the breaks!!! I could have avoided a few hospital stays if I had just slowed down & listened to my body. Sometimes when we have a lot going on with life we forget to take care of our BODY, not physically but mentally as well. Over the years pushing through these ‘hard’ times; I’ve built mental toughness, I’ve built confidence, I’ve built a stronger foundation for my body & mind. Not to say, I don’t still struggle with ups & downs just like everyone else.. they come more often than not with this disease but, through working on myself; I’ve learned to appreciate my body through all of its ups/downs/fluctuations, I’ve learned slowing down isn’t always a bad thing & I’ve learned what self love is. The best advise I can give is to love yourself. You only have one body & one life; cherish it, show love & give love #selflove ♾  ps... & with that said I’m sorry to some of you who may be offended by my “sexy” posts or that you only see my “best” photos... know it took my years to feel this & to appreciate #ME & what I was naturally born with! Most days go by with me not feeling the greatest but looking ‘good’ on the outside. I’m constantly trying to find a way to heal my insides & feel good. I haven’t always loved my body, nor did I always take care of it. I’m not talking about just physically but mentally as well.. I’ve worked really hard for change!!
