But now, more than ever I see the importance of being beautiful and shining my light from the inside out. It’s so easy to get caught up on social media. Comparing ourself to others and feeling less than- less worthy, less beautiful, less successful, the list goes on. I’m here to let you know that what you see on social media is not real life. It’s just the highlighted/edited version of life. I posted a picture yesterday of a strong version of myself, when in fact I felt the opposite. We all have bad days, but I’ve learned that one of the many beauties in life is that we can control the way we react to things, and where we put our focus. Knowing that there’s always a blue sky behind the dark clouds. In many cases, it’s as simple as focusing on gratitude. This picture is a simple unedited version of my true self.
