Music has been at the core of my identity, my art, my personal milestones, professional events, career moments; music is often my therapy and a big inspiration for my work, and while I work. It was a natural fit for me to work with Beats in London, and it was an honor to be the very first artist to be featured in the Beats Residency space (@ビーツ・エレクトロニクス) at "The Dirty House" in Shoreditch. The talented Gabriel Moses directed this "Facing the Giant" video to tell my story and showcase my relationship to music while I was in London. Gabriel's vision is showcased in the video that I'm debuting here today. It's always surreal to see myself and the work I do depicted on screen, but I think that Gabriel captured a nice interpretation of me right now, doing what I do, have been doing, and will continue to do with my art and my voice.
