With horror films we can face our fears and confront them from a safe place. It’s also one of the few genres that allows you to explore areas in film that you otherwise wouldn’t - It’s also not entirely unacceptable to not have that Hollywood-happy-ending all the time. ‪I love to find and watch films that surprise me and have unexpected twists that adhere to the spirit of the genre (or to a horror sub-genre) rather than just tell the story in a straightforward, expected fashion.‬ I also love the feeling of that adrenaline rush when you’re captivated by a great film and are engulfed by the feeling of suspense! To put it simply, I LOVE HORROR.
