I’ll never forget when Ed had been assigned to assist me & Bruce Swedien when we were working on “Off the Wall” at Westlake, right after he had moved to LA from Chicago back in ’78…He was a sharp kid & not only did we keep him on for the next 6 years, but I brought him back to the engineering team for “The Dude”, & many other projects…I even had the honor of working with him all the way up until this last year.
