Ask yourself, is the woman presenting herself for other women, or is she performing feminity for the male gaze? If the latter, then other women will ultimately feel bad about themselves after seeing it. ✨ And the same goes for the type of adverts brands are putting out to advertise to women. If they're performing for the male gaze, it's likely it's an "̶a̶s̶p̶i̶r̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶a̶l̶"̶ unattainable portrayal of women.
