I’ve been to film festivals all over the world — even Palestinian film festivals all over the world. This was the first time ever that I attended a Palestinian film festival IN PALESTINE. The first time I reunited with fellow Palestinian filmmakers in our homeland. The first time I saw industry insiders — from producers to festival programmers — in our neck of the woods. Thank you @hannaatallah and @filmlabpalestine for making it all possible and for placing Palestine on the global film map. Thank you to all the wonderful organizers especially @haneenmsaleh @daliabufannouneh and @_aidakaa for an incredibly smooth festival experience. Thank you to my fellow Palestine Film Market panelists @darinehotait @jkushner @reembader2012 and @ryahq for a lively discussion on film development. Thank you to the programmers for screening my short film Make A Wish (اتمنى). I shot it entirely in Ramallah back in 2005... Little did I know it would launch my career.
