I cried watching this. So well spoken, #MichelleWilliams! and much needed truth to be heard for women and our struggle to be taken seriously overall.

After working my whole life from a child into adulthood and then womanhood, this speech struck a deep chord with me.

To be heard, appreciated and supported by the work environment around you is crucially important.

Growing up as a young impressionable girl in this business, to then wrapping my head around being an adult & still having to fight so hard for equality in a world of double standards-- being told to sit down, suck it up & shut up. Just “settling” for anything less, or what you deserve--never sat well with me.

It is why I’ve made decisions to ultimately walk away from certain work environments and continue to fight for my own truth and encourage others to fight for theirs.

Well done Michelle! ❤️🙏🏼 Thanks for voicing what you did last night, in honor of so many who need to hear that!! Past, present & future!! A speech I will encourage my daughter to be inspired by.👌💪
