今年改装を終えたゲストルームでは、「森と水」が成長・成熟し、春を迎え、より一層の日本らしさとともに瑞々しく成長を続ける当ホテルの歴史を表現しています。
スイートルームは、リビングルームに設置されたソファやチェアなどの家具に「フラワーシャワー」と題されたテキスタイルを取り入れた、まるで花びらに包まれ至福の時を味わえるような空間です。リビングルームには、金沢の箔職人による金箔や銀箔をあしらったオリジナルのキャビネット、テーブル、またベッドルームには桐箪笥をモチーフにしたキャビネットを設置しています。天空から舞い降りた雲や風のモチーフを墨の滲みやはらいなどの筆遣いで描いたカーペット、満開の「藤棚」を刺繍したヘッドボード、行灯をイメージし、日本のしつらいの特徴であるアシンメトリーに配したランプシェードなど、細部まで日本文化が息づいた空間です。

The hotel’s renovated guestrooms and suites are filled with bespoke fabrics and furnishings to represent woodlands responding to the changing seasons.
Featuring the original Flower Shower textile pattern in furnishings, such as on the sofa and chairs in the living room, the hotel’s restyled suites are designed to evoke thoughts of blissful moments around flowers. A silver-leaf round table and gold leaf-embossed cabinet brighten the living room, while the carpet blends Japanese ink and brush work with a motif of clouds and gentle breezes, a nod to the extensive views of Tokyo that can be enjoyed from the hotel’s suites. This is a space exuding Japanese culture in its details such as blooming wisteria in springtime embroidered on headboards and lamp shades inspired from Japanese Andon, with an asymmetrical design which is a unique feature of Japanese furnishings.
