Inside, models entered the all-white catwalk space through church-like arches, lined with grinding electrical shutters, and travelled through the clinical, interstellar-meets-ecclesiastical space along moving travelators. As part of Gucci’s recently announced carbon neutral initiative, the show was organised according to the ISO 20121, an international standard that defines the sustainability of an event by its environmental, social and economic aspects.
