Only 80 are left in the entire world and they are separated across land and sea on two of Indonesia’s largest islands. They are one of 5 rhino species, and the closest living relative of the extinct Woolly Rhinos. The species is the last of its genus, meaning if it disappears, an entire branch of the rhinoceros family tree goes with it.
