Bruno, the chubby potato on Sullivan street that I walk past each morning on my way from the Soho bakery to the West Village kitchen. He sits outside his shop’s door every day. I watch as three neighbors walk pass him and each say hello. I do the same: “Good morning, Bruno.” He slightly looks in my direction. Continues to sunbathe.
