As became tradition before any one of us would leave, the cast would gather on the balcony of the Eugene O'neill Theatre and give their final farewells. I had originally planned to leave the show five months earlier, but couldn’t bring myself to say goodbye. As you can see here, this was among the most difficult farewells I’ve ever had to give. This show was truly a part of my soul and bidding adieu to it was an emotional ride to say the least. You see, for those of us fortunate enough to do it, the stage is a home and that home is where you spend 8 shows a week with a dysfunctional and wonderfully talented family. For 4 years of workshops and a year and a half of performing on Broadway, the show was my life and this cast was my family. And hopefully, as you can see here, that love was deep and strong. One day soon, I hope to go back to that home and play with that family all over again. Until then, I hope you enjoy this brief look behind the curtain.」9月19日 13時39分
