I thought that made me more of a woman for some reason. I didn’t want a cesarean, but the universe chose for me. Our sweet little Hendrix was butt first most of my pregnancy and decided to stay put until my due date. I prayed endlessly that we would move head down but it didn’t happen. I soon accepted the fact that a cesarean was the safest option for me and my baby. I ended up with a scheduled cesarean and felt so defeated. After everything I’ve been through along with Hendrix being in the NICU for 3 days, I’ve realized. No matter how a woman gives birth we are all created equal and are beyond strong. It’s the first time I’ve said it, but I’m proud of myself!
