I still remember being woken up by my teammates in college telling me to turn the TV on and from what I saw, was something I thought belonged to a damn film not something in real life. The moments of confusion, frustration, anger, sadness and downright fear all encompassed my body. We witnessed people lose their lives that I simply at the time could not fathom. What I did recall were my friends on campus telling each other that during tragic, devastating times, we all usually bind together regardless of indifferences as it simply doesn’t matter in finding a way to survive. To love/mourn on those who were injured but also who lost their lives was a clear stance we all ended up taking which was a decent step. Today marks another 9/11 and I am continuously hopeful we can try and come together not just in tragedy, but everyday because only Love can thrive beyond hate, only kindness can create positive vibes and only real genuine peace for humanity can ensure we live a better more prosperous life. I’m disabling the comments because this is something not for a debate on who did what as that doesn’t nor won’t bring back those people who lost their lives so I encourage us all to remove that negative sentiment and be thankful for today as we breathe, work, play and have an opportunity to live a life worth living. #NeverForget」9月12日 0時44分
