Even after years of competing, running never came easy to me, nor did I learn to love it. A motivational playlist or helpful podcast just proved to be no match for my runners block. The minute I stepped on a treadmill, I looked forward to my destination MUCH more than the journey itself. What I did learn was that there were plenty of other cardio alternatives that go the mile! Switching between high intensity interval training and even water for your cardio fix are great replacements that deliver.
