Staff Sgt. Jason Pacheco, the @mcb_camp_pendleton Male Athlete of the Year, prepares to sprint around the track at the Hope and Care Center. Pacheco was wounded by an improvised explosive device in Marjah, Afghanistan, resulting in the loss of his right leg and damage to the left.
