When I finally came to terms with the fact that I was unable to conceive and my only option was a #donoregg I can’t begin to tell you the cauldron of emotions that flooded my entire being. I was so angry at myself for waiting so long! I felt broken as a woman. Was my husband going to look at me differently? Was he going to leave me? Will I reject the baby? Will it feel more like my husbands child than mine? . The decision to choose the donor process was not easy, but I can tell now...standing here 35 weeks pregnant...I don’t have a single regret. I’m so grateful to this woman who did such a selfless act...what greater gift can you give another than the gift of life! I feel so connected to this little guy inside me.
