I got all ready even used my @rossaselftanning, packed all our over night hospital bags (youtube video of what I packed coming soon) and spent the last day in the hospital. We started our first round of medicine (mind you our goals from the moment we went into induce was to take things SLOW and do things as naturally as possible) We did our induction all night long - the next complete full day! After a few rounds of the first medicine (to get the cervix favorable) We went into labor and delivery, where we started the next round of medicine (Pitocin, which is a synthetic version of oxytocin. Oxytocin is the hormone that your body naturally produces to induce contractions, as well as serving as the famous "love" ❤️ hormone) All of the medicine we used were just what your body naturally already produces just gave it a little more to try to kick start it into Labor. I had great contractions 😅consistently for 15 hours or so... They kept her on the fetal heart rate monitor and she looked great / healthy / happy the entire time BUT she just wasn’t ready to make her grand debut... she’s just really comfortable in there haha 😆 and I don’t blame her.
