This is a house built entirely out of mundane, imperfect materials (and look — it has TWO swimming pools!). Architect Débora Mesa Molina takes unwanted, leftover pieces of block and turns them into stunning structures that reimagine the limits of architecture. The concrete beams you see here are leftover from a precast concrete factory used to make beams for highways, water channels, and bridges. “By using the resources at our disposal in radical ways, we are able to bring to light architectures that find the beauty latent in the raw and imperfect things that surround us, that elevate them and let them speak their own language,” Débora says.
